The problem
A Google Sheet, a PDF, and no way to show progress
Donations were tracked in a spreadsheet and the pitch lived in a PDF proposal. Donors couldn't see progress, the team couldn't publicly thank supporters, and every copy change had to go through a developer. The subject needed care too: the brief ruled out any imagery that trades on the participants' circumstances, so the site had to earn trust without leaning on them.

A committee raising funds for a youth programme inside a juvenile detention centre in Jakarta. We designed and built the campaign site, the donation flow and the dashboard they run it from.

A number donors can trust, calculated from verified donations rather than typed in by hand.

Every donor named on a public wall, with repeat and anonymous gifts handled with care.

What we built
Live donation progress
The raised total is calculated by the database from verified donations, so the number on the site is always the real one.
Gratitude Wall
Donors are thanked publicly. Repeat donors combine into one entry, anonymous gifts stay separate, and similar names are told apart automatically.
Google Sheets import
The team uploads their existing spreadsheet as a CSV. It copes with messy rupiah formats, day-first dates and duplicate rows, and previews everything before saving.
QRIS and bank transfer
A donation modal that works as a draggable bottom sheet on phones.
Admin dashboard
Donations, sponsors with tiers and logos, 26 team members, and editable homepage copy.
Transparency page
Where the money goes, split between the event day and the Legacy Project.

Under the hood
- 01
Clouds are pre-rendered from SVG turbulence filters. Live, they ran at 42fps; baked, scrolling holds 60fps with an identical look.
- 02
Custom scripts strip the white paper background from the hand-painted artwork and convert it to WebP. The phoenix went from 719 KB to 110 KB.
- 03
Spring-based motion modelled on Apple's fluid interface principles.
- 04
Respects reduced motion, reduced transparency and high-contrast settings.
- 05
Works with no backend: if the database is unavailable, every section falls back to the proposal content, so the page never breaks.
- 06
Clearing the donor wall takes three confirmations and offers a CSV backup first.
